Halloween is just a few weeks away and I am loving all the Halloween décor out there. There’s so much inspiration everywhere during the holiday season so I couldn’t help but get a little inspired. Besides caring for my plants, I also love to make flower arrangements and some of you said you would like to see more holiday themed content. So, today’s post is going to help you create this awesome Halloween flower arrangement.
This Halloween flower arrangement is perfect for any area of the house and you can add any spooky items to this set up that you like. The inspiration behind this arrangement came from Inspired By Charm. I absolutely loved his tablescape and wanted to create my own little arrangement for our console table. See below for everything you will need to create your own. The best part is I got it all for under $30.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Green/Dried Floral Accents
- Dark Flowers
- Recycled Jars/Skinny Vases
- Spooky Details: Creepy Cloth, Hands, Skulls, Skeletons, Eyes, Spiders, etc…
The best part about creating a Halloween flower arrangement is that you can take inspiration and spin it your own way and make it yours. When it comes to the details make sure it fits your own home and personality. Then you will for sure love what you’ve created.
CREATE YOUR BASE
Start by placing your base fabric on whatever you’re going to use as your base. I bought this creepy cloth at the dollar store, and I bought it in white and black. Then place your jars or vases in the order you want them displayed. Keep in mind you can move them around as you go arranging your flowers.
Start with your dried stems, then add in your greens. This arrangement isn’t meant to have a lot of flowers, so be sure to add your flowers strategically. I paired darker flowers with some pops of red and purple to give it a little life.
ADD SPOOKY DETAILS
I added in these skeleton hands like the Halloween flower arrangement from Inspired by Charm. Thought it was a nice spooky touch. I finished off the arrangement with my porcelain pumpkins to keep the hint of fall.
I’m in love with how this arrangement turned out and that it was very low budget. I will list all the items with the price down below. Be sure to keep the water fresh in your jars/vases so you get the maximum life out of your flowers. As Always…get creative with it, have fun and add all sorts of spooky details to keep it fun. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love to see everyone’s costumes and I’m looking forward to taking the little one out again this year. Stay tuned for more details on that as well!
