The Big Bunny Invasion at Pinecrest Gardens

The weekends for us are all about family fun.  We love to get out and explore new places as well as old ones.  One of our favorite spots to go as a family is Pinecrest Gardens.  Whether it’s just a stroll through the garden at sunset or attending an event.  It’s always a great place to be.  This weekend it was all about the Big Bunny Invasion.

Big Bunny Invasion

There are literally giant white bunnies placed throughout the garden.  It’s really amazing and just in time to celebrate Easter!  Immediately when you walk in you see all the bunnies and a bunch of kids running around and playing all around them.  Briana got more excited to see all the kids running around.  But no matter, I love taking her to see things that are unusual and fun.

Live Music

Another great thing about Pinecrest Gardens is their appreciation for music and art.  You always get the chance to see some amazing artists and hear some beautiful music.  This particular night they had a live band playing in the garden underneath one of their beautiful trees.  It was beautiful.

Frozen Lemonade

We also got to enjoy some frozen lemonade (very refreshing) and take a little walk with Briana around the garden.  We got to see the swans and a bunch of the new plants blooming for Spring.  This is one place I never grow tired of and I hope to keep bringing Briana back as she gets older to enjoy it.  This is definitely a fun exhibit to go check out when you have a chance.  The Bunnies will be here every weekend until April 21 and it’s $5 per adult to get in.

Wishing you all a wonderful start to the work week.  Also, if you have any family friendly recommendations in the Miami area I would love to hear all about them.  Just leave me a comment below and I’ll be sure to check them out.
