As most of you know I am well into my third trimester of my pregnancy. 30 weeks to be exact! I love getting dressed every morning and picking my looks for the week. During pregnancy this can be somewhat challenging as your midsection begins to grow more and more each day. It’s an amazing feeling but it’s a challenge to stay stylish and fun at times. Thanks to Pink Blush, what was a task before, is now quite simple with their stylish array of maternity clothing. I’m very excited to be partnering with Pink Blush to bring you a couple styling options for your bump.
Maternity Clothing Priorities: Style & Comfort
When it comes to every day my main concern is to be comfortable in everything I wear. Especially now towards the end, my body is always uncomfortable, but if I pick the right maternity clothing it can make things much easier. Style is another big thing for me. I love to look cute and stylish every day and I like to have options and with Pink Blush you have an array of options. I chose two different looks to style for you today. One is a fitted floral print dress and the other is a very flowy feminine dress. Check out how I style each piece differently while keeping my style intact.
Fitted Styling Tips:
When it came to fitted maternity clothing during pregnancy I did not limit myself. I really thought I would gravitate more towards flowy pieces thinking that comfort would be easier that way. However, I found that my more fitted pieces were often very comfy as well. For this fitted floral dress I kept my styling very simple. The print was so vibrant that there was no need for extravagant accessories. I paired a neutral pair of mules and finished it off with one of my favorite pairs of mirrored sunglasses. I paired some cute danglers and a simple bangle with it, just to dress it up a little.
Later I also paired this dress with some simpler earrings and a pair of white sneakers for a more casual look. I loved how comfortable I was in both looks and the fact that I could dress it up or down was perfect.
Flowy Styling Tips:
When I first shopped this flowy coral dress I noticed the description said chiffon. I had steered away from more structured fabrics that had less stretch in them because I thought the comfort level wouldn’t be good. However, this coral dress is made to fit your bump perfectly and hugs you in all the right places. I fell in love with this dress the first time I put it on. I dressed it up a little bit with a fun tropical pair of sunglasses to give it that perfect Miami vibe. Kept the accessories fun and layered with a colorful choker and stacked on some of my favorite beaded bracelets.
The option of being able to wear flats or heels with a dress is great and this one is the perfect length for either shoe style. Into the Summer I will be wearing this dress a lot with sandals or wedges as well.
So when it comes to styling don’t be afraid to try different styles of maternity clothing. You just must find the right brand and the right fit for you. I would love to hear your thoughts on both these looks. Just comment below if you like them or to give any other helpful hints for styling during pregnancy.
