When it comes to my maternity style, one of my go-to looks is a kimono/duster thrown over different neutrals in my wardrobe. I love the feeling of a flowy kimono in a cute pattern for Spring. Today I wanted to take the time and share some simple ways to style your bump with a kimono. I have about two more months to go so this style will continue to be on repeat for a little while.
Dressy Kimono Look: w/Fitted Tank Dress
One of my favorite pieces in my maternity style is a fitted tank dress. Whether it’s knee length or midi style these dresses make me feel stylish and fun. For this look I just throw on my Pink Blush kimono with some of my favorite jewels and a comfy pair of heels or flats and call it good! The tank dress can be very versatile during pregnancy if you want to go for a fitted look. I also love a fitted dress because it gives my bump a little more support.
Casual Kimono Look: w/Skinny Jeans
One of my go-to looks even when not pregnant involves my skinny jeans. I love to throw on a t-shirt with skinny jeans and pair it with a printed kimono for daytime. This printed Pink Blush kimono is perfect for that casual look. Throw this look together with some fun beaded bracelets and a cute pair of heels or sneaks. Shoes will always vary for me depending on the day and how I’m feeling. Kimonos are also great paired with sandals or heels for something more dressy.
Summer Kimono Look: w/Shorts
This look is more of a Summer look for me. With the heat and humidity in Miami I always have a couple pairs of shorts to last me the Summer. For this look I paired my Pink Blush Kimono with some fun denim shorts with a casual tank. You can finish off this look with sandals or heels perfect for a casual summer weekend look.
I’m absolutely in love with my kimono. Whether you are looking to amp up your maternity style or regular style these Summer kimonos are the way to go. These pieces are so versatile in your wardrobe and I’m so excited I got to share my maternity looks with you all.
